Okay, don't panic but.. ITS ONLY 62 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS?!

Today it has hit me that I am not as organised for Christmas as I thought I was! I've spent all day wondering what I can get for presents for all the family and trying to remember for the life of me what I have already bought! It's so hard to buy for people such as my partners family as I'm not always aware of what they already have. The thing that is worrying me the most is the fact that for the first time ever, I am having all the family round for Christmas dinner and I want the day to go perfect. I haven't even thought about buying the food in yet! I need to buy EVERYTHING! I'm so excited and want a lovely day with all the family! Christmas is my favourite time of the year because everyone seems so happy and it is time to be spent with close ones. Whats your favourite thing about Christmas? I love making hand made Christmas tree decorations and hand made cards too!

Sleeprollers.. Yay or Nay?

Well, I purchased sleep rollers to do my hair in time for a night out and with all the people saying how amazing they are on facebook and twitter, I thought I couldn't go wrong. But after trying THREE times to get some curls, I am beginning to give up. It says on the packaging to use on DRY clean hair, which is what I did the first time but when I woke up and took them out the following morning, my hair was as straight as it was when I put them in. So then I tried them with damp hair as it says on a tutorial I watched on YouTube but nope, still nothing. I even tried putting them in really tight and putting a shower cap on whilst I slept so that they didn't budge at all, but that still hasn't worked. I have been out and bought a curling hold spray which I will be trying later on tonight and if that doesn't work well then I give up! Does anyone have any idea how these things work?! and does anyone else have a problem with them or is it just me and my insanely straigh...

Handmade jewellery is the next big thing with 'By Lisabellah'

Image
In the past few months, lots of people have been making their own handmade jewellery, By Lisabellah being one of them. This woman runs her own company making necklaces, earrings and more! with one of the more popular items being the 'pea pod necklace' which I for one LOVE! I have ordered one of these for a loved one for christmas (can't put who just incase, but I will be sure to send a photo once she receives it!) you can personalise them by adding small silver letters to the necklace which I have done. It takes a lot of time and effort to make this sort of thing and once you like the facebook page, you can enter lots of competitions and giveaways to enter to win yourself the item up for grabs which is easy enough to do and I can guarantee that the winner will absolutely love their item. Get clicking on this link to have a look for yourself of the true talent and don't hesitate to mention where you got your link from :) ByLisabellah so why not like her facebook p...

GHDs are no longer top dog! Check out Rebel by Diva!

Image
I have had so many sets of GHD hair straighteners. They never last as long as they should for the amount of money you pay for them. So when my FOURTH set broke, I decided I was no longer going to be a slave to GHD and went into Sallys (Salon Services) to get advice on which straightener to go for next. That is where I heard of Rebel. They do EVERYTHING that GHDs do and last so much longer too! I have had mine over a year now and have had no problems, whereas I had problems with my GHDs way before now. They make my hair silky smooth and can be used to straighten or curl so dont be fooled by the whole 'GHD curls' thing. They come in three different colours and have a heat protection bag with them. Check them out on the Salon Services website here; Rebel by Diva For £99.99 you can't go wrong! I will never again buy GHDs, these are amazing! and I even had my mobile hair dresser asking me where I had gotten them from. Now if that doesn't show you how good they are, I...

Need a photographer? I am LOVING 'Photojenic'

Image
I recently went to the open evening of Jen Hobday's photography studio in Stalybridge (Manchester) Never have I met a more genuine woman who is more than happy to help with anything you need. She is a remarkable photographer and has so many creative ideas to ensure your photos are amazing! She is available to hire for any event and even has a 'party package' available where you can get together with friends and have your photos taken. At the open evening, Jen had a photo booth where we all acted silly and had our photos taken whilst wearing wigs and silly clothes. I recommend that anyone who is looking for a photographer contacts Jen! What more can you want, a happy and very friendly lady who helps you enjoy your day/night. Here is a link to her facebook page so you can go and have a look for yourself. you wont be disappointed! Jen Hobday, photojenic. and just to make you all giggle, here is a photo of me and my father-in-law acting silly in the photo booth..
